ASPexplore is a software package that runs Microsoft Active Server Pages off-line, without any Web server. It consists of two important components:

ASPexplore.exe - The true "ASP browser" capable of interpreting and running ASP pages on-the-fly along with regular HTML files (much alike Internet browser does it). ASPexplore allows the opening and execution of a single page or an entire ASP site. In addition to the interpretation of scripts embedded into HTML, it enables the use of ODBC databases, ActiveX, server-side components and more.
And, what is vitally important, you should know that ASPexplore browser is completely free. You can distribute and use it on any number of computers without any fee. You can take it now from
Download section and run it as totally independent application. Or you can make use of it as the integral part of ASPexplore Software package (either as demo version or as a retail version). The ASPexplore browser runs on Microsoft Windows systems with Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher installed.

SetupMaker.exe - a wizard based application that collects all ASP pages that together form a site, and then packs everything into a single executable file. It also generates the Windows setup program, to make the redistribution of the final application much easier. It is SetupMaker which makes a difference between free ASPexplore browser and full ASPexplore Software package.
